Imagining what a circular transition looks like requires a different way of thinking and will require new forms of partnership if that thinking is to then become reality.

This has led us to seek out new forms of partnership, to reach out to other circular leaders to learn from their successes (and failures), and to encourage those who usually work in competition to find a way to work together.

We are still exploring exactly what forms of partnership and collaboration we will require as the circular transition plays out in real time in the Bega Valley, but in the short time we have been operating have already started to forge a number of deep and unique partnerships.

These partnerships can be loosely grouped into three categories:

  1. BCV Program Partners circularity best practise in Australia and around the world, then ‘importing’ it to the Bega Valley.
  2. National Circularity Centre Partners the development and ongoing evolution of a strategic roadmap that lays out the region’s path to circularity.
  3. Best Practice Partners and Collaborators and leading the key workstreams that will accelerate the valley’s circular transition.
