Our membership program is currently made up of Foundation Members and Community Members.

Foundation Members are those that have been identified and approached by the RCC’s board of directors and staff on the basis that their contribution is of fundamental importance to the RCC achieving its overall objectives and are usually larger companies or institutions.

Community Members are locally based organisations or individuals who support the aims of the program more generally.

We are currently reviewing our member program but are still accepting new Foundation Members while this review is being undertaken.

FOUNDATION MEMBERS

Foundation members bring to the co-operative significant knowledge, resources and networks which assist in accelerating identified circularity workstreams and projects in the region.

Through their involvement with the Bega Circular Valley program, they collaborate, share knowledge and have full access to the outcomes of the program – much of which will be applicable in their organisations, other regions throughout Australia and around the world.

Please contact us if you would like to understand the full range of benefits that being a member could provide your organisation.

COMMUNITY MEMBERS

When the Regional Circularity was originally set-up, the intent was that community membership would be open to businesses. organisations and individuals based in the Bega Valley who wanted the opportunity to network with other members of the circularity co-operative to accelerate circularity projects and gain knowledge and understanding of projects and initiatives that may be beneficial to them.

Due to the RCC’s initial focus on building the Bega Circular Valley program from the ground up and leading the development of the National Circularity Centre, there has been a limited focus on driving community membership to date.

Whilst we currently have a number of local businesses and individuals as community members, we have not looked to build community membership numbers to this point.

However, we are currently undertaking a full review of our membership program and partnership approach and will be announcing a revised approach to both membership and partnerships once that process has concluded.

We fully expect there to be a much stronger focus on building a local member base in the Bega Valley, please contact us if you would like to be notified when our new member program is launched.
