We regularly use case studies of circular projects to help inform our approach here in the Bega Valley, and to help bring to life what a circular economy looks like ‘on the ground’.
From circular tourism and construction in The Netherlands, to product packaging made from mushrooms in the USA, we look to learn from what’s worked in other regions around the world and, just as importantly, what hasn’t.
A selection of local ‘made Circular in the Bega Valley’ case studies can be found below, showcasing some of the amazing organisations who are already playing their part in building a circular economy right here in our region. We are continually adding to this list as we uncover more great circular organisations, and the Bega Circular Valley program grow.
In the future, we plan to make a growing library of case studies available as part of our drive to both help people understand what the circular economy is all about, and to help as many circular entrepreneurs as possible to create their own success stories. In the meantime, we would encourage you to browse the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s database of circular case studies for further inspiration once you’ve exhausted the examples above.
